I am from China, a programmer and shareholder in a software services company. Following legal issues related to my company's software, I spent nearly 300 days in detention. I endured the harsh conditions of an overcrowded facility – surviving day by day in a space of just over 40 square meters shared with nearly 20 others. As someone shaped by China's exam-oriented education system, possessing inherent kindness and a somewhat stubborn disposition, I was profoundly unprepared for such an ordeal. The extreme physical and psychological toll created a devastating.
Yet, thoughts of my wife, my child, and my own relative youth drove me to fight for survival and actively work to rebuild myself. My exam-focused upbringing had instilled a deep skepticism towards concepts like fate. Initially, I sought solace in motivational books. Then, through a unique set of circumstances, I encountered a Taoist priest who had also faced legal troubles. This led me to explore Chinese metaphysics, studying destiny analysis and karma. Through analyzing my own life path using these principles and integrating them with other factors shaping fate, I gained profound insights.
This journey, born from immense suffering, ultimately guided me out of the darkness. I came to understand myself better and committed to changing myself. I sought to understand the nature of destiny and resolved to actively shape it. My purpose now is to share these valuable insights, to contribute to the well-being of all people, alleviating suffering and fostering happiness wherever possible.
